Teachers are welcome to interject their own personality, tailoring the lessons for a positive and fun learning environment. Our teachers have access to a wide range of teaching resources (inclusive of a vast online library) at the Language Link Centres, as well as tech solutions to help them keep organised and connected with a large network of teachers.

Our programs cater to Very Young Learners through Teens and Adults, with the bulk of our classes being Young Learners (age 6-10). Your position will be assigned based on experience and expertise. Teachers are provided with texts, pacing guides, flashcards, and other resources to help them teach their students.
Full-time teaching positions are 5 days per week. The 3 weekday (Monday-Friday) shifts will be scheduled from 5:30pm-9:30pm while both weekend shifts will be scheduled between the hours of 8:00am-6:00pm, with guaranteed hours of 70 hours per month. During June and July (Summer School), classes are scheduled during day-time hours Monday-Friday as well.

Senior teachers have 11 of their weekly contact hours converted to non-teaching ‘Senior Teacher Duties’.

Standard Teaching Responsibilities

  • Teaching the provided syllabus using ESL methods
  • Creating and administering engaging speaking activities
  • Administering mid-term and final tests
  • Participating in monthly training workshops and meetings
  • Attending parent-teacher meetings annually
  • Regular communication with our office
  • Participating in retention activities (Halloween, Christmas etc.)

Senior Teacher Responsibilities

Senior teachers have 11 of their weekly contact hours converted to non-teaching ‘Senior Teacher Duties’.

In addition to contact hours, the ST is responsible for providing assistance with non-teaching duties, of which the main areas are outlined below. These duties reflect a general responsibility for the overview and improvement of the School [including e.g. exams, pacing guides & resources as appropriate]. These responsibilities are to be conducted in coordination with and under the direction of the Academic Manager (AM). Direct teachers to resources, such as pacing guides, CDs, supplementary resources, etc.

  • Answer basic questions about lesson planning, classroom management strategies, supplementary materials etc
  • Answer questions about Parent Meetings, tests, first classes and last classes
  • Show teachers how to input data into spreadsheets
  • Answer protocol questions regarding PT
  • Be familiar with LLV polices and able to answer basic questions or refer teachers to the appropriate person
  • Connect teachers with appropriate staff member for disciplinary issues with students
  • Help organize and maintain Teachers’ Room resources
  • Contribute to development projects as necessary
  • Contact DOS/AC in emergencies
  • Perform emergency cover if necessary


Required/Desired Qualifications

  • A CELTA with YL Extension
  • Experience teaching all ages from VYL to Adults (including IELTS)
  • A BA/BSc degree in an academic subject
  • A clean Police Clearance Check
  • Must be a native English speaker or equivalent with evidence of high proficiency
  • Verifiable references*

* For non-native speakers, references must cover at least the last 3 years, be original documents on company paper signed by the Referee

Salary & Benefits

  • 70 guaranteed hours per month (after probation) comprising a mix of teaching and non-teaching duties
  • Base gross salaries range from 30-33 million VND minimum
  • End-of-Contract bonus approx 10.5 million VND
