  1. JOB DETAILS
  • Sydney Elementary and Secondary School (SISS) is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic PDHPE Teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 academic year.

 

  1. CAMPUS LOCATION
  • 125 Tran Quoc Thao Street, Xuan Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City

 

  1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality PDHPE lessons aligned with the school's curriculum requirements.
  • Develop, review, and update teaching resources and assessment materials.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and achievement.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessment, and achievement.
  • Support school wellbeing initiatives and programs that promote healthy lifestyles and positive relationships.
  • Contribute to school sporting events and extracurricular programs.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student learning and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, learning support personnel, and school leaders to enhance student outcomes.
  • Participate in professional learning, staff meetings, and other school activities.
  • Perform other duties reasonably assigned by the school leadership team.

 

  1. WORKING HOURS
  • 40 hours per week (7:30 – 16:30) from Monday to Friday.

 

  1. JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Physical Education, Health Education, or a related field.
  • Recognized teaching qualification (strongly preferred).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience in an international school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students across a range of ages and abilities.
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and child safeguarding.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional team.
