FOREIGN ENGLISH TEACHER AT EASTERN INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY - AUGUSTTO SEPTEMBER 2026

Eastern International University is seeking teachers to join our team of motivated professionals. We are recruiting for teaching contracts beginning in August–September 2026. We are seeking reliable and committed teachers to work in a busy department that delivers both General and Academic English programs, with the objective of helping all undergraduates achieve an official IELTS Band 6. Our curriculum is designed to advance beginner-level students to IELTS Band 6 through a full-time program of study.

Qualifications

To provide high-quality language teaching, candidates must have:

• Experience teaching General English and/or IELTS
• A minimum of 3 years of post-CELTA (or equivalent) teaching experience

Preferred qualifications include:

• Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
• Good cultural awareness
• Computer literacy

To support the work permit application process in Vietnam, applicants must provide notarized copies of the following documents:

• Passport
• Master’s degree
• CELTA or equivalent qualification (minimum 120 hours of in-class instruction and 6 hours of observed teaching practice)
• Clean police clearance certificate from the applicant’s home country (issued within the last 3 months)
• A document confirming a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
• Proof of English proficiency with an IELTS score of 7.5 or above (with no band lower than 7.0), if required
• Health check certificate issued in Vietnam (issued within the last 3 months)

Please note: Applicants must be available to commit to a one-year contract.
