IMA Kindergarten is a member of the Van Lang Education Group, one of the largest education groups in Vietnam, providing a comprehensive educational pathway from kindergarten to postgraduate over the last 28 years.

Our Thao Dien (District 2) campus serves children aged 15 months to 6 years, providing an international early childhood environment. CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AT IMA:

We are seeking Preschool ESL Teachers for our Thao Dien campus beginning Early December 2025, for the Academic Year 2025–2026 onwards. The successful candidates will deliver engaging English lessons, foster early literacy and communication skills, and promote a nurturing environment for young children.

B. YOUR ACCOUNTABILITY

1/ Planning and Teaching

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM.

  • Preschool ESL Teaching: Standard kindergarten teaching load, with a balance of direct classroom instruction, play-based activities, and language immersion time. Lessons are adapted to the developmental needs of children aged 18 months – 6 years, with daily breaks and extended lunch/rest periods built into the schedule.

  • Student Age Range: 18 months – 6 years. Lessons must be developmentally appropriate and engaging.

  • Operational Flexibility: Adjust schedules occasionally to support colleagues or school events.

  • Lesson Planning: Access to quality resources, with flexibility to adapt teaching style.

  • Non-Contact Time: For planning, assessments, and administrative tasks, with occasional coverage as needed.

2/ Parent Engagement and Student Wellbeing

  • Attend annual parent-teacher meetings as scheduled.

  • Collaborate with local teachers to communicate effectively with parents.

  • Conduct weekly ESL check-ins and quarterly assessments; update student progress in school systems.

  • Provide a purposeful and safe learning environment.

  • Participate in school celebrations, events, and assemblies.

3/ Curriculum Revision

  • Give feedback on the school curriculum when necessary.

  • Assist in revising syllabi and materials to align with Oxford OIC and early childhood best practices.

C. JOB REQUIREMENTS

1/ Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent ESL teaching certificate.

  • Additional qualifications in Early Childhood Education strongly preferred.

  • Native English Speakers only (US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa Ireland or Scotland).

2/ Experiences & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching English to young learners (early childhood, kindergarten, or daycare).

  • Strong classroom management skills with play-based, positive reinforcement approaches.

  • Familiarity with early childhood pedagogy (emergent literacy, music, movement, interactive activities).

  • IT skills and ability to create engaging digital/interactive learning resources.

  • Experience with Oxford International Curriculum (OIC) is a plus.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with colleagues, assistants, and parents.

  • Applicants may be required to conduct a live demo lesson with our academic team.
