ABOUT US – I CAN READ

I Can Read is looking for qualified full-time/part-time teachers to join our team at one of our centrally-located centers in Ho Chi Minh City.

We are a literacy-based English teaching organization with a presence in 10 countries worldwide, and we are growing rapidly in Vietnam. Our unique, specially developed system empowers students to achieve independence in reading and language skills, and to excel in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Founded by two Australian psychologists, our methodology was originally created to help people with dyslexia learn to read—and was later recognized as an extremely effective approach for ESL learners. Teachers at I Can Read find great fulfillment in witnessing the rapid progress their students make through this system.

Our students are typically between 3 to 14 years old, so experience with young learners—especially very young learners—is essential. Most lessons are held on weekday evenings and weekends.

1. Job Description

• Teach English to young learners (3–6 years old)

• Create engaging, effective lesson plans based on the provided curriculum

• Monitor student progress and complete reports on our system

2. Job Requirements

We are looking for Full-Time/Part-Time ESL teachers who:

• Are native English speakers

• Have a true passion for teaching and inspiring young learners

• Believe in creating meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences

• Hold a TEFL/CELTA/TESOL/PGCE qualification

• Hold a BA/MA in any subject

• Have at least 1 year of teaching experience (preferably with young learners)

• Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and commitment

• Are currently in or willing to relocate to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
