Part-time native English teacher recruitment information

1. Description:

In cooperation with the Vietnamese teacher to:

• Implement teaching plans and manage the students; conduct periodical and non periodical assessment and evaluation, as required in the curriculum according to the program.
• Prepare lesson plans and learning activities; supervise the learning process and result of the students; mark tests, input marks and conduct reports; update learning materials on the system of the School.
• Conduct reports of by-period and non-period students' academic results.
• To take direct responsibility for the students’ safety, hygiene and health in the English class and activities. Report to the Program Coordinator and Head of Department and notify the Vietnamese Teacher in case of risks and issues on health, psychology and safety of the students.
• Participate in online and offline professional development/ on-job training with English Department and other teachers at school.
• To implement requirements and regulations on obligations with departments of the School, if required.

2. Requirements:

• Native speaker.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• A CELTA, TESOL, Trinity or equivalent TEFL teaching certificate with teaching practicum.
• A clean home country Police Clearance Check with a 6-month validity.
• A good reputation person, honest, hardworking and love children.
• Experience in teaching.
• Open-minded.
• Good working and team-work attitude.

3. Working time: Mon - Fri (1:30pm to 4:45pm, average 9.5 teaching hours per week) and maximum 2 working Saturdays morning per month for meetings/ PD/ makeup lessons (if any)
4. Benefits:

• Negotiate (based on performance, background and experience) – Around $20 - $25 NET per teaching hour
