ART TEACHER (school wide)

- GENERAL INFORMATION
We are looking for looking for school-wide art teachers who have experience handling visual arts and/or experimental arts (painting, sculpture, design) with referential knowledge of the principles and theories of art (art history) for the International School System in Ho Chi Minh City, belonging to RT Holdings:
- The Western Australian International School System (WASS).
- The Pennsylvania American International School (PENN).
- The Sydney International School System (SISS).

- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
- Create and distribute educational content.
- Prepare, administer, supervise, and grade examinations, quizzes, and other assignments
- Educate students on following a school’s moral codes and behaviors
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss a student’s progress.
- Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
- Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings
- Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences, etc.
- Cover the class for absent colleagues when necessary.
- Other related duties assigned by the Board of Principals.
- WORKING HOUR:
- 40 hours per week (7:30 – 16:30) from Monday to Friday.
- JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in education, pedagogy or related to teaching art.
- Master's degree in education is desirable but not required.
- Certifications in education are recognized (PGCE, QTS, Teaching Licenses).
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in proven international schools.
- Good oral and written communication skills in the language of instruction (English).
- Knowledge in the delivery and implementation of the Australian curriculum and the IB Diploma programme (desirable but not mandatory).
- Experience in planning, instructional design and assessment.
- Be adaptable, dynamic and willing to apply strategies that fit local and cultural realities.
