Job Description

Plan for the growth of the department and the development of its programs based on the students’ and the school’s needs by applying the most suitable strategies.
Provide guidance, support, and training to department members
Collaborate with internal/external partners/stakeholders in order to gain the target of strategic planning for both student program and curriculum development.
Research solutions and make recommendations for the improvement of curriculum of the students and AC/UCC counseling.
Train, supervise, and support the G9-10 counselor trainee to provide all of the above to G9-10 students, but at a more foundational level.
Provide expert guidance and support to students throughout the study abroad preparation process: offering detailed information on programs, institutions, majors, costs, and assisting with application documentation and visa procedures.
Coordinate with partners and maintain up-to-date study abroad information: liaising with international institutions, organizing events to promote programs, and staying informed about trends and policies in key study abroad destinations.
Provide G11-12 students with direct and indirect comprehensive counseling, guidance, and support in 2 main areas via weekly classroom lessons and individual counseling meetings once a semester and as often as requested:

+ Career exploration's goal is to help students discover and decide on a suitable career which determines their university major. + University planning's goal is to help students discover and decide on suitable universities around the world, to help them with preparing for specific university admission requirements, and to help them discover and prepare for scholarship opportunities

Continually develop/modify the UCC program by monitoring & evaluating the program and counselors.
Continually develop/modify the AC program by monitoring & evaluating the program and teachers.

Continually coordinate/support the development/modification of the SEL programs (primary & secondary schools) by monitoring & evaluating the programs and teachers.
