VCE Physics Teacher

A - Job description:

• Teaching Physics in conjunction with the Haileybury Co-Teacher to teach and mentor the students as per their needs and abilities.
• Provide engaging and interactive classroom instruction to help students understand complex physics concepts and principles.
• Supervise and guide students in conducting experiments and practical work to reinforce theoretical learning.
• Prepare lesson plans and facilitate the learning of VCE Students, adhering to the provided timetable.
• Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.).
• Plan and execute educational content in-class.
• Explain new ideas & unfamiliar concepts in a clear & concise way so that students can understand.
• Provide challenge, insight, and humor when necessary.
• Stay up to date on VCE Program Changes and occurrences.
• Work closely with Haileybury mentors.
• Take care of students and evaluate their learning progress.
• Ensure that the teaching, learning and curriculum promote the development of students.
• Instruct students on taking placement test as well as mid-term and final tests.
• Attend teachers’ training workshops to improve teaching quality.
• Assist with the Content of VCE Marketing Events.
• Perform other duties as prescribed by the school.
• Working time: Monday – Friday.

B - Requirments:

• Bachelor’s Degree & at least 3 Years of Classroom Experience, State Issued Teaching License (USA), Qualified Teacher Status (UK), and/or an obtained or in progress PGCE / iPGCE.
• Expected Qualifications + Master’s Degree, 3+ Years Classroom Teaching Experience Post Teaching Qualification.
• Good pronunciation and proactive teaching style that can inspire the passion of students in learning.
