Description
We are seeking a full-time Science Teacher for our Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam campus for upcoming school year. In this on-site role, you will be responsible for teaching a range of year levels within the Secondary division, spanning from Year 7 to A Level.
You will plan and deliver engaging lessons covering all three science domains: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing students for international examinations (IGCSE and A Levels), assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. Additionally, you will contribute to curriculum development, create lesson plans, and support students in achieving their academic goals. Collaborating with fellow educators to foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment is an integral part of the role.
Qualifications:
Ability to teach General Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) across lower secondary levels, with strong qualifications and expertise in Chemistry or Physics for upper secondary and A Level instruction.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Science (Physics or Chemistry preferred) Education, or a related field.
- Qualified teaching credentials (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) and prior experience as a Science Teacher at the secondary level.
- Proven skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development.
- Experience teaching international curriculums (e.g., Cambridge IGCSE, AS, and A Levels) is highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate effectively and inspire students in a cross-cultural learning environment.
- Proficiency in adapting innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes for students of varying abilities.
