[Ho Chi Minh] Native English Teacher (Full-time)

Lesson planning

• Preparing lesson plans and submitting them to meet the deadlines
• Making sure teaching materials are well prepared before class

Teaching and testing

• Teaching Primary and High school students according to the assigned schedule (TIS school & IHE Center – no more than 25 hours/week)
• Teaching and assessing English of the school’s staff
• Teaching with individualized approaches and making sure each student can achieve course objectives
• Providing students individualized feedback
• Covering for absent colleagues when necessary (no more than 2 hours/week)
• Creating, supervising and marking tests; producing weekly, end of term, yearly, transferring and other necessary reports as required by the Academic Manager.
• Assessing students' work systematically and using the results to for future planning, teaching and curricular development.

Other tasks

• Participating in mandatory training workshops, meetings and school assembly, events.
• Attending parent-teacher meetings annually, communicate to parents to help students improve their English
• Consulting students with their studies and study-related problems
• Conducting brief to new expat teachers when required.
• Creating and administering engaging English activities (speaking, writing, game show...)
• Providing additional academic assistance for students as an extension to the instructional part of the semester or before important tests
• Preparing the school’s syllabus (Math, science, English)
• Participating in other activities that include school-related sports, arts, cultural and marketing activities;
• Creating a lively and communicative atmosphere around the school.
• Performing other miscellaneous tasks when required

Qualification

• Passport
• Bachelor’s degree (it would be better if you have a bachelor's degree in education)
• Teaching certificate
• Reference letter (if any)
• 3 years of teaching experience

Salary:

• 45,000,000 - 50,000,000 million/month
