MATH TEACHER
Academic year 2024 - 2025
- GENERAL INFORMATION
We are looking for Math teachers who have experience handling subjects (math) for International School System in Ho Chi Minh City, belonging to RT Holdings:
The Sydney International School System (SISS).
Our campuses:
- Campus No. 125 Tran Quoc Thao, Vo Thi Sau, District 3, Hồ Chí Minh
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
2.1. Teaching and assessments:
- Create lesson plans, make sure it follows requirements of New South Wales curriculum.
- Create exam papers (if assigned)
- Work with co-teacher to create weekly summary.
- Assess and record students’ progress and grades (2 times/semester).
- Support students who need extra support.
- Make sure classroom is tidy and is a enrich environment.
2.2. Meetings:
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss a student’s progress.
- Meet parents to resolve parent’s concerns (when requested)
- Attend staff meeting once/week
2.3. School events
- Participate in school events including regular events and special events such as Graduation; School Year Exhibition….
2.4. Others
- Cover the class for absent colleagues when necessary.
- Other tasks assigned by BoPs
- WORKING HOUR:
40 hours per week (7:30 – 16:30) from Monday to Friday.
- JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in education, pedagogy or related to teaching.
- Master's degree in education is desirable.
- Certifications in education are recognized (PGCE, QTS, Teaching Licenses).
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in proven international schools.
- Good oral and written communication skills in the language of instruction (English).
- Knowledge in the delivery and implementation of the Australian curriculum (desirable but not mandatory).
- Experience in planning, instructional design and assessment.
- Be adaptable, dynamic and willing to apply strategies that fit local and cultural realities.
