General Description

This position is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in the Cambridge Kindergarten program, ensuring students receive a well-rounded education that meets their developmental needs. The teacher will implement engaging lessons, support individual student growth, and foster a positive learning environment.

I. Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning

    1. Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons following the bilingual
    2. Foster an interactive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student
    3. Use a variety of teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles and
    4. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods

Curriculum Implementation

  1. Follow the bilingual kindergarten curriculum and ensure alignment with learning
  2. Integrate language development activities to support students' bilingual
  3. Utilize creative and innovative teaching approaches to enhance student

Student Support and Development

  1. Monitor and support individual student progress, identifying learning needs and implementing appropriate interventions.
  2. Encourage students’ social, emotional, and cognitive development through interactive activities and play-based learning.

Parent and Community Engagement

  1. Maintain open communication with parents about student progress and
  2. Participate in school events, workshops, and activities that involve families in the education process.

Health, Safety, and Well-being

  1. Ensure a safe and nurturing classroom
  2. Follow school policies on health, safety, and
  3. Promote inclusive practices that cater to diverse students

II. Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Educational Management
  • Preference for candidates with a Master’s degree or relevant certifications demonstrating teaching expertise

Experience & Personal Qualities:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching at the Preschool level
  • Experience in management, implementing educational improvement programs, or holding a leadership/coordinating role.
  • Responsible, honest, creative, and passionate about education

Skills:

  • Strong teaching skills, lesson planning, and classroom management
  • Leadership, communication, coordination, and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in office software and integrating technology into teaching
  • Preference for teachers proficient in English and holding relevant English proficiency certifications
