FULL TIME- SECONDARY HISTORY TEACHER

We are looking for 1 full-time HISTORY  teacher for the next academic year (Starting in August 2024- June 2025)

Location:  1 P. Trịnh Văn Bô, Xuân Phương, Nam Từ Liêm, Hà Nội 100000

Duration: August 16 2024-June 2025

Hours: 8:00 AM - 16:30 PM (lunch time is between 12.20-13.10 and every lesson is 50 minutes in duration) 

Average Teaching hours per week: 17-20

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute dynamic and captivating History lessons tailored for students in secondary school. 
• Develop interactive learning exercises to facilitate active participation and provide supplementary materials for home study
• Craft mid-term and end-of-term assessments aligning with the Cambridge syllabus
• Compile weekly progress reports for students, ensuring effective communication with parents
• Engage in educational field trips alongside students
• Cultivate an inclusive and encouraging learning ambiance
• Sustain an enjoyable yet disciplined classroom environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, history archaeology, or a related field such as PGCE or American teaching qualifications. (or equivalent experience)
• Previous experience teaching History GCSES or A-levels is preferred  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create and deliver engaging lesson plans
• Responsible, organised, and adaptable
