Description
UP English Center is seeking two English teachers from the UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand, or Canada. We are open to considering candidates who have lived in the countries above and have a (C2) level of proficiency.
We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:
- Have Celta or TESOL (Trinity) certification
- Have at least a bachelor's degree
- NO ONLINE TEFL (please don't apply if you only have this)
- Must have at least one year of teaching experience with young learners
- Should be energetic and lively
- Must be culturally aware
- Be willing to work in the evening (Mon-Fri) and on weekends (full day)
- Can sign a two year contract
What we offer:
- A dedicated team of full-time academic support staff
- Lesson plans (little to no preparation required)
- High salary (600,000 VND/hour)

- Housing allowance (3 million VND)

- 80 hours minimum monthly
- 12 days of annual unpaid leave in addition to national holidays (about 15 days)
- 2 days off per week (could be during the week and non-consecutive)
- Temporary Residence card, work permit and visa sponsorship (full cost)
- Sponsorship of flight ticket to visit home (10 mil VND) after one year of working

We are a small English language centre dedicated to helping students achieve English proficiency, with most planning to study or move abroad. We strive to be innovative and have an immersive and active approach to our teaching. The student's education takes centre stage at UP. We are located just 5 minutes away from the centre of Can Tho. Can Tho is the biggest city in the Mekong Delta, and while there are malls, bars, and restaurants, it is much quieter than Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. So it is ideal for someone who wants a more peaceful lifestyle but still retains many benefits of a big city. Living costs are also significantly lower, with a two-bedroom flat/house usually ranging from 6-10 million VND per month.
