  1.   GENERAL INFORMATION

We are looking for members for the International School System in Ho Chi Minh City, belonging to RT Holdings:

  •  The Western Australian International School System (WASS).

Our campuses:

  • Campus No.43 Nguyen Thong Street, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, HCMC.
  • Campus No.157 Ly Chinh Thang Street, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, HCMC.
  • Campus No.84 Ba Huyen Thanh Quan Street, Ward 9, District 3, HCMC.

 

With following job details:

The overall responsibility of the Academic Coordinator of Secondary of the International Programs at WASS is to support the Principal and

Head of School in managing the school’s operations. The Academic Coordinator of Secondary of the International Programs performs administrative

and management duties, provides leadership and motivation to the school community, and is a key member of the pedagogical leadership team. The

Academic Coordinator of Secondary of the International Programs works in conjunction with/and under the direction of the Principal. the Academic

Coordinator of Secondary of the International Programs is required to be present during international examinations and other school events outside

regular working days as needed.

 

  1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

2.1 Quality Management:

  • Greet students and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Ensure classes are prepared and teachers are present.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Monitor and promote effective teaching and learning practices.

2.2 Curriculum Development:

  • Coordinate the implementation of various international programs.
  • Support teachers in curriculum delivery and assessment strategies.
  • Evaluate and adjust educational programs based on feedback.

2.3 Staff Recruitment and Evaluation:

  • Understand recruitment processes and evaluate staff performance.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new teachers.

2.4 School Operations:

  • Communicate policy changes and provide professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with educational standards and regulations.
  • Address student behavioral issues and support their well-being.

2.5 Reporting and Compliance:

  • Prepare and submit necessary reports to educational authorities.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely submissions.

2.6 Community Engagement:

  • Foster partnerships with parents and involve them in the educational process.
  • Promote school activities and enhance the school’s public image.

2.7 Other Tasks Assigned by Supervisors

Perform additional tasks as requested by supervisors.

 

  1. WORKING HOUR:

40 hours per week (7:30 – 16:30) from Monday to Friday.

 

  1. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree education field.
  • Familiarity with the Wace/IB program's curriculum framework and subject guides.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administration
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
