Position: Cambridge Program Manager
Quantity: 01

Workplace: Bach Duong Primary School - Hanoi
Direct Manager: School Board, Executive Director
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, and 2 Saturday mornings
Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education; At least one year of experience working in a Cambridge school. Having Cambridge certifications is an advantage.
Salary: 60 million VND to 80 million VND/month
Contract Type: 1-year initial contract; 2-year renewal contract
Support: TRC, Work Permit
- CAMBRIDGE SYSTEM MANAGEMENT
- Develop operational and academic year plans for the Cambridge System;
- Implement and manage the execution of activities during the academic year.
- Supervise the professional activities related to teaching the Cambridge program; Approve reports before they are sent to parents.
- Guide training, implement parent orientation conferences, program seminars, and admission seminars for the Cambridge System;
- Lead activities related to consulting, answering questions, and addressing complaints from parents;
- Represent the Cambridge Academic Department in working with department heads, complying with the directives of the school board and principal, coordinating with various departments within the school to implement and execute common work plans;
- Train, guide, supervise, check, and evaluate the implementation of regulations by teachers and staff of the Cambridge Academic Department according to the school's policies.
- ACADEMIC MANAGEMENT
- Curriculum Development:
- Develop and implement teaching and learning activities within the Cambridge program and plan their execution.
- Adjust and supplement the learning levels of Cambridge subjects, develop curriculum frameworks, prepare teaching materials, and sample lesson plans.
- Build and develop learning materials such as exam question banks and tests.
- Write and categorize teaching materials, guide school teachers, and provide parents with important information about the program.
- Work directly with the school director, representatives, and individual teachers to develop strategies and lesson plans to unify the program content.
- Support the school leadership in developing annual teaching improvement plans.
- Work directly with the school leadership and individual teachers to incorporate IT applications into the teaching program.
- Check and support teachers in designing and creating the best materials for each lesson.
- Assist in designing assessments based on criteria to ensure accurate evaluation of each group/student's level (differentiated student levels).
- Manage the evaluation system according to school standards, communicate assessment results to parents and school leadership.
- Lead the curriculum according to CAIE standards.
- Teacher Training:
- Responsible for the teacher training program according to Cambridge standards.
- Implement training courses based on program analysis and teacher competencies and needs.
- Participate in teacher training activities within the school and evaluate training quality.
- Act as an advisor to teachers when needed.
- Quality Management:
- Review weekly lesson plans and lectures by teachers to ensure quality standards are met before classroom teaching activities.
- Develop classroom teaching methodologies and effectively use IT in teaching.
- Discuss with teachers, school leadership, and representatives to find and resolve issues arising during program implementation.
- Support and find solutions, answer questions related to the Cambridge program.
- Provide monthly reports to the school director and representatives on teaching and learning quality and propose solutions (if any).
- Operations Management:
- Responsible for semester exams and the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint each academic year.
- Other Duties:
Participation in events organized by partner schools or the school during the week or weekends is mandatory and unpaid for such events.
- Parent meetings (3 times per academic year)
- Regular extracurricular activities for students
- Implementation of Enrollment and Communication Plan:
- Develop monthly communication and enrollment plans, interacting and coordinating with the enrollment and communication departments.
- The academic management of the Cambridge primary program contributes to achieving enrollment KPI targets, preparing entry test materials, advising parents on study pathways, and the advantages and opportunities for students undertaking entrance tests and following the Cambridge primary program pathway. Work in collaboration with admission staff and the communication department to achieve KPI targets.
- Recruitment for Teachers:
- Recruit, interview, and select teachers with good professional quality, meeting the Cambridge primary teaching standards according to the school's plan.
- Choose reputable and professional platforms for teacher recruitment. The school needs to provide resources to support this task (if needed).
- Work with CAIE:
Complete tasks as required by CAIE and other arising tasks.
