How to play the James Bond Game?
After the “epic” intro, a questionnaire in the form of top-secret folders will appear.
After each of these “folders” there will be 4 surprising question types (for those who don’t know them, of course):
Question type 1: Question and answer
In this form you will see a question and an illustration, and you need to answer correctly to get to the reward. The correct answer is shown at the bottom. The team that answers correctly, click the green box in the lower right corner of the screen to return to the score sheet, with each correct answer, a team gets 2 points. If wrong, click the red box in the left corner to go to another question, or return to the homepage with no points.
Question type 2: Hidden pictures
In this question form, the team in turn must guess the object behind the gradually revealed picture. The more puzzle pieces are opened, the less points you get. Therefore, students must be quick to guess the answer quickly to get the highest score.
- To edit
– Paste the picture you want to use on top of the slide. Something large will work the best.
– Right-click it and move it to the back layer. When this slide comes up the first click will make the blocks begin to disappear along with activating the score meter on the right.
– Once a student gets the answer a second click will reveal the whole image and stop the point meter.
– The whole thing is set to complete within 20 seconds.
Question type 3: Hacking game
In this type of question of the James Bond Game, a team will need to be fully focused. They will have to look closely at all the jumbled words in a sentence and put them together to make a complete sentence. The faster the question is answered, the higher the score is achieved.
- To edit
– Fill in the words for a scrambled sentence where the one-eight placeholders are above the phone.
– Delete any that are unused. Click once to bring up the phone.
-There is a 30-second timer, the arrow will go back to 5 after that but they should only get 1 point if they take too long.
-The second click brings up the answer and stops the point marker.
Question type 4: Break the safe
Students will need to answer 3 questions related to a topic you want to cover (see slide 41). If they successfully answer all 3 questions, the safe will be opened. Tap the safe’s handle to open it and discover the special rewards inside.
- To edit:
– Zoom out to see all the question/answer placeholders.
– Fill them in according to the green O’s and Red X’s.
– If you get any wrong answer you fail the challenge, hit the red marker in the bottom left, if you get all 3 correct you get to steal that amount of points from the other teams (all from one team or split between several teams)
Note: You can steal a certain amount of points from the other teams with this question type all from one team or split between several teams.
