Objective: Teach and practice the Present Simple tense for habits, routines, facts, and permanent situations.

Content Overview:

  • Usage of Present Simple:
    • Habits (They go to school every day.)
    • Facts (The Earth goes around the sun.)
    • Permanent situations (My grandparents live in a small house.)
  • Time Expressions: every day, once/twice a week, always, usually, often, sometimes, never.
  • Grammar Focus:
    • To be (am/is/are) in positive, negative, questions, and short answers.
    • Verbs (affirmative, negative with don’t/doesn’t, questions with do/does).
  • Wh- Questions: What time do you get up? / How often does your mother go shopping?
  • Spelling Rules: 3rd person singular (-s, -es, -ies, irregular).
  • Exercises & Quizzes:
    • Fill-in-the-blank sentences.
    • Yes/No questions with short answers.
    • Wh- questions.
    • Multiple-choice quiz (Who Wants to Be a Millionaire style).
