IELTS TEACHER

1.   GENERAL INFORMATION

We are looking for members for International School System in Ho Chi Minh City, belonging to RT Holdings:

•     The Western Australian International School System (WASS).

Our campuses:

• Campus No.43 Nguyen Thong Street, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, HCMC.
• Campus No.157 Ly Chinh Thang Street, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, HCMC.
• Campus No.84 Ba Huyen Thanh Quan Street, Ward 9, District 3, HCMC.

1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
   • Plan and develop learning materials and methods to improve teaching quality for the IELTS program.
   • Teach IELTS classes as assigned.
   • Prepare and edit exam questions according to IELTS rubrics.
   • Participate in the assessment of students' learning outcomes: entrance test, mid-term test, final exam...etc.
   • Build an image of enthusiastic teachers who inspire students to learn.
   • Report and comment on students' learning progress each semester.
   • Notify students' learning status to parents when required.
   • Attend faculty meetings as well as parent-teacher conferences.
   • Support the Board of Principals with professional tasks.
   • Cover the class for absent colleagues when necessary.
   • Other related duties assigned by the Board of Principals.

1. WORKING HOUR:

40 hours per week (7:30 – 16:30) from Monday to Friday.

1. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Master's Degree is preferred.
• At least 2 year experience in IELTS test preparation
• Minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience at an international or bilingual school for the secondary or upper-secondary level.
• Enhance office working efficiency with initiatives and creativities.
• High level of IT competence
• Great interpersonal skills with stakeholders, such as students, parents and school staff.
• Get knowledge of successful teaching and learning theory, as well as the practice of meeting the specific needs of all students through classroom organization, differentiation, and learning methodologies.
