Language Link is currently seeking a Teacher Select and Support Coordinator (TSSC) to join our public schools program, Schools Link!

Schools Link is Language Link’s highly successful English language education program in Vietnamese schools.  We have more than 170 foreign English teachers teaching over 32,000 students in Hanoi’s urban districts. Our programs consistently receive high ratings from students and parents. Our Schools Link program caters to Primary, Secondary and High School students in Hanoi.

Start date: September 25th, 2023

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • At least 1 year experience in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and/or management. Experience in an educational setting is preferred but other industries/fields with relevance will be considered.
  • At least 3 years’ Young Learner teaching experience (preferably in public schools)
  • A CELTA (or equivalent) teaching certificate with teaching practicum

Duties & Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the LLV TR team, recruit enough qualified teachers to meet recruitment targets.
  • At the Schools Link level, develop recruitment strategies in coordination with Language Link HR’s Teacher Recruitment Manager and the SL Academic Manager.
  • Interviewing teacher candidates for Schools Link.
  • Coordinating with Marketing, Teacher Recruitment, and Schools Link Operations to conduct teacher recruitment marketing activities for Schools Link. Participate in LLV Recruitment events & activities as a representative of Schools Link.
  • Assist HR in following up with teachers throughout the year.
  • Assist the Academic Manager and Operations team with teacher allocation.
  • Annual survey conducted with teachers to measure satisfaction and to project retention.
  • Provide support to teachers throughout the Schools Link network, visiting centres and schools on a regular basis to meet with teachers, build positive relationships, and provide necessary support.
  • Lead on delivering induction for new teachers joining Schools Link regarding company and department policies and procedures.
  • Attending Recruitment, ACMAN, and SL Operations meetings.
  • Teaching a small schedule of 1-2 classes twice a week.
  • Managing leave requests of teachers and coordinating this with the Scheduling team and the AM/ HOD as deemed necessary by internal policy.
  • Plan and deliver mass communication with Schools Link teachers on topics such as policy/procedure changes, opportunities for extra hours, and other topics as instructed by Schools Link management.
  • Providing feedback to improve recruitment methods.
  • Building and managing potential teacher databases on a monthly basis.
  • Other duties as required by Schools Link management.
