We are seeking a Secondary Math Teacher for our Go Vap campus to join our International Program community, with an immediate start date. - Planning and Teaching

- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Secondary Teaching: Teachers are expected to deliver 30 teaching periods per week, plus 2 fixed ECA or Tutorial periods. On occasion, operational needs may require up to 32 periods per week, 40 minutes per period.
- Operational Flexibility: Teachers may be asked to adjust their schedules occasionally to meet the needs of the school community, which includes supporting colleagues by covering classes when necessary.
- Lesson Planning: Teachers will have access to a repository of PowerPoint lessons which can be adapted as necessary. However, there will also be occasions where teachers are expected to create their own lesson plans.
- Parent Engagement and Student Wellbeing

- Attend annual parent-teacher meetings as scheduled.
- Collaborate with local teachers to effectively communicate with parents about academic and social matters, including follow-ups on reports and during parent-teacher meetings.
- Regularly update student progress each quarter in our LMS system.
- Ensure a purposeful and safe learning environment for all students.
- Curriculum Revision

- Give feedback on the school curriculum when necessary.
- Assist in the development and revision of the school’s syllabi and materials if needed.
- JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Qualifications

- A university degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
- Candidates with a PGCE, QTS, or a valid teaching license are strongly preferred.
- Candidates with additional qualifications, such as a master's degree or other advanced degrees in education, will be given preferential consideration.
- Candidates with TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent certificates may be considered if other requirements are met.
- Experiences & Skills

- Candidates must have been educated in English-medium institutions, with English as both the medium of instruction and their first language.
- Teaching Experience: At least two years of teaching experience, ideally in Mathematics at an international, bilingual, or similar teaching environment.
- Mathematics Expertise: Strong understanding of Math curriculum standards, with the ability to teach core concepts, problem-solving skills, and applied mathematics effectively.
- Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to implement 21st-century learning strategies, differentiated instruction, and educational interventions tailored to diverse student needs.
- Adequate skills in IT, including the creation of interactive presentations (PPTs).
- Strong teamwork skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents to foster a supportive and productive learning environment.
