A) YOUR ACCOUNTABILITY

1) Planning and Teaching

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:15am to 4:45PM.
  • Preschool ESL Teaching: Teachers are expected to deliver up to 30 teaching periods per week, plus 2 fixed ECA or Tutorial periods. 35 minutes per period.
  • Student Age Range: The Preschool division serves children aged 18 months to 5 years. Teachers are expected to tailor instruction and classroom activities to support early language development, foundational cognitive skills, and age-appropriate social-emotional learning.
  • Preschool teachers will work closely with local teaching assistants in daily classroom routines, care duties, and instructional support to ensure a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Operational Flexibility: Teachers may be asked to adjust their schedules occasionally to meet the needs of the school community, which includes supporting colleagues by covering classes when necessary.
  • Lesson Planning: Teachers have access to quality resources to support lesson planning and student engagement while allowing flexibility in their approach.
  • Non-Contact time: Free periods for lesson planning ,administrative tasks and covering.

2) Parent Engagement and Student Wellbeing

  • Attend annual parent-teacher meetings as scheduled.
  • Collaborate with local teachers to effectively communicate with parents about academic and social matters, including follow-ups on reports and during parent-teacher meetings.
  • Regularly update student progress each quarter in our LMS system.
  • Ensure a purposeful and safe learning environment for all students.
  • Be involved in the organization and delivery of events, festivals, assemblies, etc;

3) Curriculum Revision

  • Give feedback on the school curriculum when necessary.
  • Assist in revision of the school’s syllabi and materials if needed.

B) JOB REQUIREMENTS

1) Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • TEFL,TESOL or CELTA Certificate.
  • Candidates with additional qualifications related to early childhood other advanced degrees or certificates in education for early years prioritized.
  • Native speaker: American, Australian, British, Canadian, New Zealand, South African
  • Non-native English-speaking teachers must have a minimum IELTS score of 8.0+ or demonstrate a commitment to obtaining this qualification within the first year of employment.

2) Experiences, Skills & other requirements

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in early childhood education, preferably within an international, bilingual, or Montessori-inspired setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a nurturing, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children aged 18 months to 5 years.
  • Familiarity with early childhood pedagogy, including play-based learning, emotional regulation strategies, and emergent language development.
  • Strong classroom management grounded in positive reinforcement and relationship-based practices suitable for young learners.
  • Proficiency in basic IT skills and the ability to create visual, sensory-friendly materials (e.g., interactive PowerPoints, educational videos, music-based tools).
  • Must have studied in an English-medium university, with instruction and coursework conducted in English.
  • Effective communication and collaborative teamwork with teaching assistants, parents, and school leaders to support holistic child development.
  • Applicants will be required to deliver a live demo lesson with our academic management team, tailored to the age group and school materials provided.

C) Safeguarding and Student Safety
