• Conduct 30-minute, one-on-one English lessons to Chinese learners online
• Prepare and study the company-provided teaching materials before the lesson starts
• Provide corrective feedback during the lesson
• Create a lesson memo at the end of each lesson

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET STARTED

Here are the requirements to become a home-based online English teacher:

• A Bachelor’s degree preferably in Education/Communication/Psychology/Linguistics
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Experience in teaching English to foreigners, adults and young learners is an advantage
• Preferably with teaching certifications such as LET/TESOL/TEFL/CELTA/TKT
• Excellent social skills, professionalism and patience
• Must be available to teach an average of 16 hours per week during the following times: 7pm - 11pm (Mon to Fri) and/or 9am - 11pm (Sat to Sun)

Because you’ll be teaching online from your home, you’ll need your own computer and high-speed internet connection. All of our classes are conducted 1-on-1 via our virtual online classroom. Working at home is pretty simple, just make sure you have:

• A quiet, clutter-free and well-lit teaching space in your home
• Wired Internet Connection - at least 3 Mbps (This means that your router/modem should be physically connected to a wired line - phone line or cable or fiber optics)*
• A desktop computer or laptop (Windows 7 or above) with HD webcam
  • CPU (Processor) - Dual Core Processor or above, Intel or AMD
  • RAM: At least 2GB of RAM (4 GB is recommended); and
• A headset  with noise cancelling feature and extended microphone
