Job Description
English Teacher – Eastern International University
About the Role
Eastern International University is seeking teachers to join our team of motivated professionals. We are recruiting for teaching contracts beginning between October and December 2026.
We are looking for reliable and committed teachers to work in a dynamic department delivering both General English and Academic English programs. Our objective is to help undergraduate students achieve an official IELTS Band 6. The curriculum is designed to guide students from beginner level to IELTS Band 6 through a full-time program of study.
Requirements
Experience teaching General English and/or IELTS.
A minimum of 3 years of post-CELTA (or equivalent) teaching experience.
Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
Good cultural awareness.
Computer literacy.
Required Documents
To support the Vietnamese Work Permit application process, applicants must provide notarized copies of the following documents:
Valid passport.
Master's degree.
CELTA or equivalent teaching qualification (minimum 120 hours of in-class instruction and 6 hours of observed teaching practice).
Clean police clearance certificate from the applicant's home country (issued within the last 3 months).
Documentation confirming a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
Proof of English proficiency with an IELTS score of 7.5 or above (no individual band lower than 7.0), if applicable.
Health check certificate issued in Vietnam (issued within the last 3 months).
Contract Requirement
Applicants must be available to commit to a one-year contract.
