Creating, designing and implementing the Atlantic Language Centre IELTS Programs.  As well as creating the program, the employee is also responsible for teaching the curriculum, teacher recruitment and leading/managing the IELTS teacher team.

Creating and designing the Atlantic IELTS preparation programs, including detailed syllabi for various proficiency bands. You will use a mix of existing materials and create your own to do this.

Develop and refine the ongoing courses based on student feedback and discuss with senior management.

Develop and create lesson plans and later a lesson plan system.

Teaching when required where you will teach for a fixed number of hours.

Create and prepare materials for individual lessons.

Teacher recruitment strategy. You will work alongside HR management to recruit IELTS teachers for the programs.   You will be responsible for designing the JD and preparing the criteria for new teachers, as well as interviewing candidates and making the final decision on recruitment alongside the AEA Operations Director.

Teacher training and performance monitoring. You will monitor and document teacher’s performances and progress. You will have to decide on disciplinary issues and reasonable punishments alongside senior management.

Preparing weekly reports detailing what have done during the week and the programs progress (including issues and solutions/potential solutions).

Additional responsibilities that may arise; as discussed and agreed between the employee and employer.

  • University Degree in English or equivalent major.
  • Teaching certificates: CELTA, TEFL, TESOL, DELTA
  • 2 year working experiences in Education Management
  • 2 years experiences in teaching English
  • Leadership, Communication, teamwork skills
  • Lesson plan/curriculum writing skill
  • Proficient in office equipment (laptop, scan machine, fax machine, projector, smart board...)
