Overview of Position

We are looking for passionate and dedicated educators. As a teacher, you will cultivate a love of learning through English language lessons and inquiry-based learning activities. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to teaching various classes, curriculum building, grading assignments, evaluating students’ progress, researching fun activities, and communicating with parents.

It would be best to be a competent professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Our ideal candidate would also demonstrate outstanding presentation and interpersonal abilities.

Compensation and Benefits:

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Class preparation
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities promptly.
  • Create lesson plans and curricula and modify them accordingly throughout the year.
  • Use a curriculum that meets the Point Avenue standards.
  • Develop and issue educational content, including notes, tests, and assignments

  1. After class activities
  • Maintain student accountability and safety of students (i.e., attendance and behavior management) to encourage a productive learning environment.
  • Teach the lesson plans based on course objectives.
  • Teaching students aged 6-15 with an average 6-12 students class size.
  • Implement character-based education in all classes.

Important information

  • Teaching students aged 6-13
  • Average class size is 6-8. Maximum class size is
  • Working hours: 40hours/ week (Including teaching hours and admin hours)
    • Weekdays: 1pm - 7pm
    • Weekends: 9am - 4pm
    • Days off: Monday and Tuesday
    • Working time will be discussed and agreed with the supervisor.

      • Elementary English Learning: Our primary courses include seven English language courses that begin with very young children learning the alphabet to grade 5 students writing essays. These classes are three hours per week and include inquiry-based learning activities between practical language lessons.

    • Middle School High School
      • English Language Arts: Our primary courses include four levels of English Language Arts (Beginner through to Advanced). Lessons are tailored to test student skills and improve their reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical thinking abilities.
      • MSHS Writing Coach
      • MSHS Debate courses
      • Life Coaching
  • Location: two Hanoi centers (Cau Giay - 03 Vu Pham Ham and Long Bien - 60 Chu Huy Man)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Must have);
  • Native / fluent English speaker;
  • TESOL/TEFL/CELTA Certification;
  • Any additional educational certifications/licenses (if applicable);
  • Any additional academic experiences (i.e., Debate, tutoring...);
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
  • Well-organized with leadership abilities;
  • Interpersonal and presentation skills;
  • Curriculum development experience preferred.
