Overview of Position
We are currently looking for an experienced and passionate Lead Teacher to join our team and assist us with our mission to develop students holistically and prepare them for lifelong learning.
The Lead Teacher will play a pivotal role in providing instructional leadership and ensuring the delivery of high-quality education to our students. This position involves curriculum development, instructional coordination, teacher training, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Working hours: 40hours/ week (Including teaching hours and admin hours) with 2 days off per week.
Working time will be discussed and agreed with the supervisor.
1.Curriculum Development and Implementation:
- Collaborate with the academic team to develop and enhance curriculum materials and resources.
- Ensure that the curriculum is aligned with academic standards and meets the needs of students.
- Monitor the implementation of the curriculum and provide guidance to teachers for effective delivery.
- Instructional Coordination:
- Coordinate and oversee the instructional activities of teachers within the assigned grade level or subject area.
- Conduct regular classroom observations to provide feedback and support teachers in improving their instructional practices.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop lesson plans, instructional strategies, and assessments.
- Teacher Training and Professional Development:
- Plan and conduct professional development sessions to enhance teachers' instructional skills, content knowledge, and classroom management techniques.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers in implementing best practices and innovative teaching methods.
- Stay updated with the latest educational trends and research to ensure continuous improvement in instruction.
- Classroom Teaching:
- Teach classes within the assigned grade level or subject area as needed.
- Model effective teaching strategies and techniques for teachers to observe and learn from.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning
- Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring:
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to measure student progress and learning outcomes.
- Analyze assessment data to identify areas of improvement and provide targeted support to students.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop individualized learning plans for students with diverse needs.
- Parent and Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for growth.
- Collaborate with the school administration to address parent concerns and ensure a supportive home-school partnership.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Teaching Certifications
- 3-5 years’ experience of teaching and developing curriculum
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in curriculum design, academic teaching principles, and effective assessment strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and stakeholders.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and support to teachers for professional growth.
- Organizational and time-management skills to coordinate instructional activities and meet deadlines.
