Language Link is currently seeking an In-house Trainer to join our outreach Schools Link program.
Schools Link is Language Link Vietnam’s highly successful English language education program delivered in partnership with schools across Hanoi. We currently have more than 200 foreign English teachers teaching over 32,000 students throughout Hanoi’s urban districts. Our programs are highly regarded by both students and parents for their quality and effectiveness. Schools Link provides English education programs for Primary, Secondary, and High School students at public schools as well as selected private school partners across Hanoi.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Liaise with the Schools Link Director and Academic Manager (AM) to:
- Conduct a comprehensive Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across the system;
- Develop and implement training and coaching management systems and plans for different target groups, including training needs analysis, evaluation methods, assessment, and follow-up;
- Set and maintain high teaching standards aligned with international best practices.
- Develop ESL teaching programs and curricula when required.
- Design and develop training programs, manuals, and materials.
- Deliver “Train the Trainer” programs for key academic staff and Regional Head Teachers (RHTs), enabling them to provide training, coaching, and professional development activities for teachers and teaching assistants at partner schools.
- Deliver direct training programs and workshops for teachers before and throughout the academic year.
- Prepare and conduct workshops for Vietnamese teachers of English and teaching assistant teams.
- Train RHTs and academic management team members to conduct lesson observations and provide constructive, supportive feedback.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of effective assessment measures across all levels.
- Advise the Schools Link Director, AM, and academic management team on curriculum. development to ensure courses are effective for student learning and suitable for the local context.
- Participate in workshops for parents, schools, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training (DOET), and MOET when required.
- Design and develop CEFR-style, IELTS-style, and other assessment materials.
- Support the development of academic projects when required.
- Select appropriate materials for primary and secondary school programs.
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss issues and propose solutions.
- Liaise with academic management and Teaching Assistant management teams to organise workshops and training activities.
- Provide teaching cover and teach classes when required.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Education, TESOL, ESL, or a related field is preferred
- A CELTA (or equivalent) teaching qualification with supervised teaching practicum
- A recognised teacher training qualification or status (e.g. Cambridge Train the Trainer, Cambridge CELTA/DELTA Tutor, Trinity TESOL Tutor), or a postgraduate qualification specialising in teacher training
- Minimum 3 years of experience in academic training and management
- Minimum 3 years of experience teaching young learners, preferably within public school setting
