This school is based in Hanoi, Vietnam and is looking for an MYP Individuals and Societies and DP Psychology Teacher.

Commencing August 1st, 2024, Hanoi International School seeks a qualified teacher of MYP Individuals and Societies and DP Psychology. The ideal candidate should hold qualifications in a related subject area, an education qualification, and have experience teaching MYP Individuals and Societies and DP Psychology.

Your primary responsibility is Teaching and Assessment with a focus on the following:

  • Embedding the IB Approaches To Teaching (ATT) into your practice, demonstrating inquiry-based, conceptually focused, contextualized, differentiated teaching informed by assessment;
  • Planning lessons and units to meet student’s individual learning needs and to ensure student’s progression;
  • Using a range of appropriate strategies for teaching and learning and classroom management;
  • Using flexible groupings and structured inquiry to deliver high-quality lessons in line with the IBO philosophy;
  • Maintaining a well-organized and stimulating learning environment;
  • Using technology to enhance learning;
  • Using information about prior attainment to set expectations for students;
  • Using a range of assessment and reporting methods that show student’s achievement toward learning outcomes;
  • Providing clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents.
