• Salary: 300.000 - 350.000 VND/hour

About Con Oi:

Con Oi is a new and aspiring English centre for kids and teenagers from 4 to 14 years old founded in 2022. Focusing on the four values “Sharing - Caring - Sympathising - Spreading”, Con Oi aims at creating an open and promising English-learning environment to enhance students’ English skills as well as nurture and embrace the innocence of young souls.

About the role:

With the hope of creating an active and lively environment to practise English-speaking skills, Con Oi is pleased to welcome enthusiastic companions on board. The tasks of an expatriate teacher at Con Oi’s weekly English Club is divided into three main types, including tasks before, during and after club time. Before club time, the teacher is asked to prepare the activities frame and a list of essential materials. During club time, the teacher, with the assistance of Con Oi’s members, will play as the main actor to operate the club. After club time, the teacher and assistants will assess how well or how engaged each student is during the club.

Responsibilities:

• Plan activities based on the given topics.
• Prepare a checklist for needed materials.
• Host the activities (guiding students when learning and practising new vocabulary, checking students’ pronunciation, interacting with students to liven up the mood, dealing with unexpected situations, etc.).
• Give feedback on students’ performance.

Candidate Requirements:

• Filipino teachers (preferably female).
• Available in club time (90 minutes) on Saturdays.
• TESOL/TEFL certificate.
• Friendly, nice and patient with children.
• Open to new experiences.
