Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Management
- Design, implement, evaluate, and continuously improve the K–12 English curriculum aligned with international standards
- Oversee the integration of English across all subjects within the bilingual program
- Develop and deliver extra-curricular and after-school programs suitable for different age groups and proficiency levels
- Promote innovative teaching methodologies (project-based learning, inquiry-based learning, technology integration)
- Ensure the curriculum aligns with the school’s strategic direction and long-term roadmap
- Lead initiatives to build and strengthen a bilingual learning environment
Teacher Leadership & Development
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate English teaching staff
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and professional development
- Build a collaborative and professional team culture within the department
Departmental Management
- Manage department budget, resources, and scheduling
- Develop student assessment systems to track progress and improve teaching quality
- Collaborate with school leadership and other departments to ensure a cohesive academic program
Community Engagement
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and curriculum
- Represent the English department at school events and meetings
- Organize English-related events and activities for students, parents, and the wider community
- Contribute to the school’s overall mission and vision
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
- TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification
- 5–7 years of teaching experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Experience in bilingual or international school settings is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of international English curriculum frameworks
- Familiarity with MOET (Ministry of Education and Training) standards
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
