English Language Instructor - Only Candidates in Vietnam

An institution of higher education located in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam is seeking full-time instructors to teach classes of adult learners studying on our TESOL Certificate program and classes of adults and teenagers studying on our IELTS and General English programs. Only native speakers of English will be considered.  Instructors who hold a job-relevant master's degree will be prioritised. Instructors without a master’s degree but with a permanent residential status in Vietnam will also be prioritised. Teachers must be prepared to teach on some evenings and sometimes on Saturday and Sunday.  

Requirements: 

• Native speaker  

• Bachelor’s degree 

• CELTA 

• Minimum two years full-time ESL / EFL teaching experience, including IELTS preparation, to adults and teenagers 

• Cooperative, a team player, respectful 
• Prepared to work in the evenings and at weekends 

Preferred: 

• Job-relevant master’s degree or 
• Permanent residential status in Vietnam 

Responsibilities: 

• Deliver high-quality lessons to students in both online and face-to-face modalities 

• Promote the success of the institution by following our professional and ethical guidelines, which include maintaining a positive attitude in the workplace, and being respectful to fellow faculty members, members of the management team, support staff and students 

• Support student learning outside the classroom by holding office hours and responding promptly to messages 
• Know how to use learning management and project management systems
