English Language Arts (ELA) Teachers

A. Working hours:

• 8.00 - 11.30 and 1h30 - 3.30 on Monday to Friday
• 3 - 4 hours teaching/day, the rest time teachers will work at the office.

B. Job description

1. Teach English Language Arts for primary students
2. Create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of individual students.
3. Assess student progress through regular quizzes, tests, and assignments.
4. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language skills.
5. Create a positive learning environment that promotes active participation, critical thinking, and creativity.
6. Use various teaching methods, materials, and technology to engage students and enhance their learning.
7. Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and development.
8. Attend professional development workshops and conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest teaching methods and technologies.
9. Evaluate students’ academic and social growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare progress reports. (3 times/year or as assigned by the managers)
10. Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed about their child's progress and provide guidance on how they can support their child's learning.

C. Requirement

• Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
2. TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) or TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification.
3. Previous teaching experience, preferably in an ESL context.
4. Knowledge of the culture and customs of the student's home countries is desirable.
