Nationality

Qualifications

As a third party, we provide support in different aspects, such as curriculum, legal matters, problem solving. We often offer a wider range of working hours, accommodating different schedules. We also work to ensure that teachers have a consistent and stable schedule, reducing uncertainty.
It ranges from 15-25 hours depending on your capacity and workload. The scheduling is designed to support a healthy lifestyle, ensuring a good work-life balance.
Yes. You will be provided with curriculum, syllabus, and textbooks. You are expected to prepare your own lesson plans and PowerPoint slides using these materials. Visual aids are encouraged to make lessons engaging. Other tasks may include marking tests or providing student feedback once or twice per semester
You’ll receive your salary on the 15th of each month, via bank transfer to your Vietnamese bank account. We’ll assist you in opening an account once you arrive. If the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday, payment will be made on the previous working day
After getting the work permit, you will be enrolled in the public health insurance program. We also recommend that all teachers arrange their own international health insurance before arriving in Vietnam.
To apply for a Work Permit and TRC in Vietnam, you will need to prepare the following legalized and valid documents:
- University degree – A notarized and legalized copy
- Teaching certificate (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, etc.) – Also notarized and legalized
- Criminal background check – Issued within the last 6 months, from your home country or Vietnam (It also needs to be legalized if you get it from your home country)
- Medical check – must be completed at an approved clinic in Vietnam
- Passport – Must be valid for at least 12 months with empty pages for visa/TRC
EIV’s legal team will guide you step-by-step through the entire process once you pass your demo and receive an offer.
The rent cost varies depending on accommodation types and the locations as well. A small studio: 5 – 6 million VND/month, 1-bedroom apartment: 6 – 8 million VND/month, two-bedroom apartment: 7 – 12 million VND/month
A Work Permit in Vietnam is typically valid for up to 1-2 years, while a Temporary Residence Card (TRC) is usually issued to match the Work Permit’s validity. After expiration, both must be renewed if you continue working in Vietnam.
Yes! All new teachers receive a comprehensive orientation and training session covering Vietnamese classroom culture, teaching techniques, and policies. We want you to feel confident and well-prepared before stepping into class.
