This is the Vietnamese language center under the Department of Linguistics, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU. The center’s mission is teaching the Vietnamese language and Vietnamese culture as a foreign language, organizing exams, and granting certificates to those who complete Vietnamese courses at their place. In addition, the center also accepts to apply for and renew visas for foreigners who register to study Vietnamese at the Center. Currently, the Center organizes Vietnamese language training courses under two programs: The Vietnamese language and Vietnamese culture program (from 3 months or more), and Vietnamese language program (from 2 weeks or more).

5. Faculty of Vietnamese Studies – University of Social Sciences and Humanities

 

Also known as the Vietnamese Language Teaching Program and Vietnamese Topics for Foreigners, The Faculty of Vietnamese Studies was established with the main purpose of promoting the image of people as well as the characteristics of Vietnamese culture to the world.

Vietnamese here is taught according to specific specialties, possibly at the student’s request. However, the disadvantage of this center is that it places too much emphasis on theoretical and general communication and lacks a vivid and close visual learning method.
