Job Description

Atlantic Five-Star English is recruiting a large number of experienced IELTS teachers for IELTS courses in Hanoi from August to December 2020.  Teachers will deliver lessons throughout five months to Vietnamese teachers of English, with the ultimate goal of students achieving an overall IELTS score of 5 to 6.5 or above. The expected class size is 20 students. Up to 24 teaching hours per week will be available for each teacher.  This post is the right fit for experienced, effective teachers looking for daytime teaching hours during the week. Both expat and Vietnamese teachers are encouraged to apply. ROLE REQUIREMENTS Essential
  • CELTA / Trinity CertTESOL / equivalent teaching certification
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Minimum 1 years’ English teaching experience, including experience teaching IELTS and experience teaching adults
  • A clean criminal record
Desirable
    • Delta / DipTESOL / relevant MA with practical teaching component
    • IELTS examiner certification (active or lapsed)
 
  • 3+ years’ teaching experience
 
  • previous experience of working with Vietnamese teachers
  Contract length: August–December 2020* Teaching schedule: daytime, Monday-Friday (Saturdays possible) Venue: 33 Lac Trung, Hai Ba Trung & 125 Hoang Ngan, Cau Giay, Ha Noi Compensation: attractive hourly rate Benefits: work permit, visa and medical insurance Professional development: induction, observations, and workshops *There may be an opportunity to continue past December in case the project is renewed.
