Job Overview
- Location: Public schools across Hanoi
- Start date: September 2026 (Induction in August 2026)
- Contract: Until May 31, 2027
- Schedule: Daytime hours
- Guaranteed hours: Minimum 60 teaching hours/month

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging English lessons covering speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of mixed-level secondary students
- Use a variety of teaching methods, materials, and technology to enhance learning
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback through assessments and reports
- Prepare and mark tests, assignments, and homework
- Maintain accurate academic records (attendance, grades, reports)
- Collaborate with academic managers, coordinators, and fellow teachers
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, observations, and school events
- Ensure all safeguarding and child protection policies are strictly followed
Teaching Context
- Students: Secondary (ages 11–15)
- Class size: Typically, 25–30 students
- Structured curriculum with flexibility for adaptation
- Strong academic support: mentoring, observations, ongoing training
Requirements
Essential:
- CELTA / Trinity CertTESOL (or equivalent with observed teaching practice)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- At least 2 years of teaching experience
- Ability to adapt to the Vietnamese public-school environment
- Clean criminal record
Desirable:
- Experience teaching secondary students or large classes
- Experience in Vietnamese public schools
- Delta / DipTESOL / MA TESOL (or equivalent)
