Job Summary:

An English Lecturer is responsible for teaching English language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing, to university or college students. The role involves preparing lesson plans, delivering lectures, assessing student performance, and supporting academic development. Lecturers may also participate in research, curriculum development, and departmental activities.

Key Duties:

• Teach English language and/or literature courses

• Design lesson plans and instructional materials

• Assess and support student learning

• Participate in academic and administrative meetings

• Engage in research and professional development (if applicable)

Requirements:

• Degree in English, TESOL, or related field

• Strong English proficiency

• Teaching experience preferred
