Atlantic is seeking expressions of interest from experienced English language teachers and teacher trainers who are available to work on a teaching methodology training project this summer. This training course is for local state secondary school English teachers in a province about 1.5 hours outside of Hanoi. The goal of the training is to help these teachers develop their teaching practice with up-to-date and effective techniques, practices and approaches. The training is expected to last 3-4 weeks, from late July until Aug. This course is intensive, with approximately 24-30 contact hours expected per week for each trainer. Trainers will live and work in the province for the duration of the course. Please note that some of the following course details are still being finalized with the client. COURSE DETAILS

• Trainers needed: 20 - 25
• Pay rate: up to 60,000,000 VND gross / 4 weeks of training
• Tentative dates: 25 July - 19 Aug expected
• Course start / end dates could vary by one week earlier or one week later
• Expected hours per week: 24 - 30, on a Mon-Fri or Mon-Sat schedule
• Accommodation: provided, in a hotel near the training venue
• Transport: transport between Hanoi and the province is provided at the beginning and end of the course;
• airfare to/from Hanoi reimbursed for trainers located elsewhere in Vietnam

TRAINER REQUIREMENTS Essential

• bachelor’s degree in any subject
• CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL or equivalent high-quality teaching certificate with minimum 6 hours of observed teaching practice

OR

• bachelor’s degree or higher in English Education
• at least 3 years’ experience of English language teaching in a professional setting
• English proficiency equivalent to C1 from a recognized exam (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge Advanced/Proficiency, or Aptis)
• not required for trainers with passports from the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, Ireland and New Zealand
• current work permit / legal right to work in Vietnam
• clean criminal record in Vietnam and in home country

Preferred

• Delta, DipTESOL or relevant master’s with practical teaching component
• previous experience of teacher training, including delivering workshops and conducting lesson observations and feedback
