Please see my attached resume for details regarding my English teaching experience. I have been involved in multicultural communities for many years due to my worldwide travels and experience going to school and working with people all over the world. I have mentored children since I was a young age myself. I am used to working in an international setting in which those around me speak other languages and need ESL assistance. In order to earn my TEFL certificate, I formally tutored an adult at an advanced English level for a year. I also am going to volunteer as an English teacher at a primary school in Ha Gjang in March this year.
I am very grateful for this opportunity to tutor and teach students to the best of my abilities. I am driven by my passion to help others, which is why I have spent the better half of this past year volunteering with children, sustainability projects, and animal rehabilitation throughout Southeast Asia. I am happiest when I am able to use my education and experience to improve other people’s lives. My recent experiences in Asia have inspired me to apply for a teaching position, in which I hope to not only teach English, but also generate meaningful relationships with people across the globe.
There is no better satisfaction than guiding a student to learn new skills, especially when it means they are given the chance to expand his or her opportunities with a language that is spoken worldwide. My time as a traveler, volunteer, yoga instructor, babysitter and advanced English tutor has provided me with the best possible capabilities to teach English to any student in need of lessons.
