I attended many different international schools throughout my years receiving an education. I graduated with a bachelors degree from a school that had over 80 different ethnic groups attending it. I pursued a degree in Business administration. Upon completing my years in college I decided to take my education to the next level and get a 120 hour TESOL certificate. Georgia Gwinnett College is located in Gwinnett county, GA. It is one of the top 5 most diverse counties in the USA. I chose to attend Georgia Gwinnett College so I could continually encounter cultural differences and meet new kinds of people!
I have had several experiences teaching many different age groups throughout my life.
My teaching career started in Peru when I started tutoring doctors to improve their business English. The 2 doctors I worked with were optometrists. I created lesson plans for them and tested them on their performance to monitor their improvements.
I have lead baseball camps for young students at universities in America. I taught these students the game of baseball while also working with them on language development.
I recently came back from China where I worked with primary school children teaching them English as well as science. Teaching in Vietnam has always been a dream of mine. The beautiful scenery, warmth of the people, and vibrant culture astound me in a way that no other country does. I'm looking forward to being in contact about the opportunities Vietnam presents!
