I have a degree in Education from the University of Brighton, a 150 Hour Tefl Certificate as well as A-Levels, GCSEs and a National Diploma.
The National Diploma was in Teaching and my degree explored Teaching and wider topics and issues around education giving a broad and detailed experience. Throughout college and university I also undertook placements where I gained practical experience and did some research on a variety of subjects.
I have worked with children, adults and those with Special Educational Needs in mainstream school settings, adult learning centres and even an SEN school. I have lead lessons, created lesson plans and supported students within all of these contexts.
My preference would be to teach upper primary/lower secondary students, but am comfortable teaching students of any ages. My focus is on teaching English, but I do also have a knowledge of other curriculums and could teach other subjects if needed.
