I took up Bachelor of Elementary Education major in Special Education in Trinity University of Asia. I passed the board examination by Philippine Regulation Commission as a licensed professional teacher in September, 2016. Also, I acquired a total of 120 hours of TEFL.
I have been working since year 2015 as a Sign Language Teacher for one year as my internship in a public school. I teach deaf and mute students in kindergarten, ages 3-7 years old, using the American Sign Language.
After that, I started a job in January 2017 to July 2019 as a Student Services Teacher (Special Education Teacher) in Brent International School Manila, Philippines. A multicultural international school accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS).
I teach all general subjects such as English, Math, Science, and Special Skills. I am assigned to teach in the primary level, ages 6-10 years old and middle school, ages 10-14 years old. I provide in and out classroom support and behaviour intervention plan to improve different skills of a student. Also, I am assigned to make and implement individual education plan after meeting with the team that involves parents, doctors, therapist, and school coordinators.
