Greetings. I am interested in positions in international education – teaching English, teacher training, program management, and student affairs and counseling. My goal is to finish my career working in Asia.
My experiences include working in American and overseas universities and government institutes, middle school, and high school. I also worked for a hi-tech ODM (original design manufacturing) company. In my various positions, I have served as a teacher, teacher trainer, course creator, curriculum writer, program evaluator and designer, and manager/administrator. My education experiences total more than 19 years – 5 years in American universities; and 15 years overseas in Japan, Taiwan, and Saudi Arabia.
When I taught English at Emporia State University, I had Vietnamese students and liked them very much. Also, I have visited Vietnam and like the country. I am fond of Asia and want to see what opportunities are available in Vietnam, which is such a beautiful country.
In addition to my teaching experiences, I have written thirteen books. I wrote six books for a Taiwan publishing company, and seven books for the ODM company in Taiwan as part of the English program I created there. Several of the books were also published by China’s largest publishing company.
I enjoy working with people from any country and am quick to adapt to any culture or job environment. My previous colleagues and supervisors know me as an easygoing, enthusiastic, and professional person. Finally, as my resume/vita demonstrates, I have a proven record of accomplishment.
