Education:

Teaching is not only a job or profession, it is an opportunity to help others. With the right enthusiasm and passion, teaching sees no limits. I want to help children learn and be inspired, to continue learning their entire lives.

I have recently completed an in-class 120 hour TESOL certification, where I have gained experience working in a language centre, public school and a charity school.

Since graduating from Loughborough University with a 2:1 English and Sports Science Degree, I have been working for just over two years as a Recruitment Consultant. It is an incredibly fast-paced and challenging environment, however it sees one main similarity to teaching. It has helping people at its core. I have looked after hundreds of individuals on their journey to seek an income, gain experience in a specific environment, develop a certain skill set, and ultimately find their dream role. I thrive when I am constantly learning something new and interacting with people from all different parts of the world.

I have had two fantastic years working in recruitment, but I am now seeking my next challenge, which to me is a more fulfilling and enjoyable role. Throughout my degree, I have grasped an extensive understanding of the English language, and the history and culture attached to this universal language. Alongside this, throughout my Sports modules, I have also developed a thorough knowledge of the art of pedagogy, and how to become the best teacher. I am excited to put this knowledge into practice and I believe teaching English as a foreign language will be a fantastic opportunity to hone in on my knowledge and develop this further.

Throughout childhood, I have always been an avid sports player. I have played netball and football for as long as I can remember, and a huge part of my enjoyment for the sport, came from coaching juniors. I am incredibly enthusiastic, hard-working and I love being able to share my knowledge with others. I believe in making learning as inclusive as possible and ensuring individuals can have fun!

I am immensely excited to experience a new culture, whilst embarking on the challenge of teaching so I can help as many children as possible, learn and become the best version of themselves.

Thank you for taking the time to read my application. I hope to hear from you soon!
