2005 - 2011: I attended Stratford High School where I achieved honors grades in my final exam which led me to being accepted in the most prestigious university in Ireland.
2012 - 2016: I completed a Bachelor of Social Science and received a full qualification as a registered social worker. I achieved a 2:1 in my final grade.
2017: I undertook TEFL and received my certificate of completion.
June - August 2015: I worked as a volunteer and assistant with SJ Vietnam where I assisted healthcare professionals in the care of ill children in Hanoi Acupuncture Hospital.
September - December 2015: I completed a work placement with Separated Children Seeking Asylum as part of my social work degree, where I learnt the skill of communication with children who do not speak my language.
August 2016 - August 2017: I worked as a child protection social worker in west Dublin for one year. Here I worked closely with clients to help the work through various traumas, abuse, addiction and poverty. I worked closely with children in this role and feel that I have developed particaular knowledge and skills in child care and child communication.
November 2017: I volunteered as a teaching assistant and taught English and maths to children in the Varanasi slums in West Bengal, India. I worked with Somit Volunteering Programme, an independent volunteering programmer set up by local social workers.
