Looking for someone that is fun, engaging and full of energy to join our YOLA Dolphin program.
Dedicated, has a passion for kids and understand the needs of a young learner. The suitable candidate will be in charge of a range of classes with varying English skill levels. Our program involves a lot of games, student interaction, and learning through discovery.
Quickly adapt to these learning philosophies and be able to provide an enjoyable yet meaningful lesson for the students. If you’re a big kid at heart and love interacting with young children, then you’re the person we want!

Duties and Expectations:

Candidate will be the co-main teacher in charge for assigned classes.
Read through the syllabus and lesson plans well in advance and communicate with the ‘program team’ for anything syllabus, lesson plan or YOLA EdX related.
Become familiar with apps ‘Talking Pets’,‘Qooco Talk’, ‘Brain Pop’ and understand the ‘Whole Brain Teaching’ approach.
Liaison with the ‘coach’ regularly to set up and organise each teaching day’s collaboration activity.
Deliver a fun and inclusive lesson for the kids. Lots of energy and student engagement is a must.
Go through the lesson with the EA and make full use of the assistant where required ie. set up classroom, collect equipment needed, interpret an activity in Vietnamese etc.
General teacher requirements ie. taking attendance, responsible for student’s actions, demonstrates understanding and patience, being at the centre 30 minutes before class etc.

General Requirements:

Minimum of Bachelors Degree from an accredited university such as native English- speaking Countries: US, UK, New Zealand, Australia, Canada etc.
Vietnamese nationals considered but must possess strong educational background and language teaching experience.
A willingness to quickly learn and adapt to the high energy teaching styles required for kids.
Someone who will be fully committed to the program and available for work mainly on the weekend.
