Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership in the implementation and use of the WIDA ELD Standards and Assessments
  • Develop and deliver professional development opportunities for teachers and staff on the WIDA Standards and Assessments
  • Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and staff to develop and implement programs and strategies to support the academic success of ESLLs
  • Provide support to teachers and staff in the implementation of effective instructional practices for ESLLs
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor and evaluate the progress of ESLLs in meeting language proficiency and academic standards
  • Provide guidance and support to school teams in developing and implementing effective instruction and assessment practices for ESLLs
  • Assist in the development and implementation of language proficiency and academic standards for ESLs
  • Collaborate with community agencies and organizations to develop partnerships and resources to support ESLLs and their families
