Native English Teacher for Law Seminar

Justice Magic is a stellar After-school Law Course Program, that designed for middle and high school students, aimed at building both practical legal knowledge and essential soft skills that teenagers need for their personal development and further career choice.

We are offering part-time jobs to both Native English speaking teachers and Vietnamese nationals who are native-level fluency.

Job Description:

Our teachers will be in charge of the followings:

1. Teaching responsibilities:

• Introduce law course in English to students
• Deliver high quality and effectively ready to go content in line with the program of Justice Magic
• Observe, evaluate and provide timely feedback on students’ class work, assignment, and overall progress
• Create a positive educational climate for students to learn
• Provide a variety of assessments to assess student learning
• Work with program coordinators to ensure objectives are being met and even to develop the teaching content
• Plan & conduct extra-curriculum activities for students

2. Pastoral responsibilities:

• Attend staff meetings, parents/teacher meetings

Job requirements:

• Native English/English Proficiency (C1+)
• Have law-related experience such as Educational Background in Law or working experience in a law firm or law school is a must
• Cambridge CELTA/TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/Trinity Certificate or equivalent teaching qualification preferred is a plus
• Experience in teaching for the well-known institution is a plus
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
• Confidence using new technologies in teaching and/or willingness and motivation to learn and apply these new skills in the classroom
• Flexibility and cultural awareness
• Good attitude in contributing to the development and delivery of high-quality teaching and assessment of learning, including in the design and creation of successful learning environments

Teaching Information:

• Working hours: flexible but maximum to 16 hours/week
• Working Location: Unit 305, 3F, The Oxygen 628C Ha Noi Highway, An Phu Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
• Students’ age: 15-18 years old
